Information & Registration for the 5th Annual Harlan Hustle 5k Fun Run

It’s time to register for the 5th annual Harlan Hustle 5k Fun Run. You can run, walk, or skip, even with strollers, but sorry, dogs and bikes are not allowed. Registration opens on Saturday, August 5, 2016 at 7:00 a.m., with the run starting at 7:30. The start/finish line will be at the Harlan Park. Entry fee is just $20. T-shirts available to those registered prior to July 15th. Awards: Gift Certificates from East of Chicago in Leo, Sailers and Dari DeLite in Hicksville. It’s time to register for the 2017 Harlan Days Grand Parade. We are looking for bands, marching units, antique cars, businesses or commercial enterprises, floats of all types, color guard or cheer units, animals, families or groups, children, acts, antique tractors or other parade worthy attractions. Download the appropriate form below, give us your info and then either snail mail or email it back to us to complete your registration. But don’t put it off, entry deadline is Thursday, August 3rd. Registrations after that will incur a $10 late fee. The 2017 Harlan Days Festival is Starting to Take Shape

Local volunteers are hard at work and the 2017 Harlan Days Festival is starting to take shape. This summer we will celebrate the 70 th annual Harlan Days in support of Harlan Park. The festival will include arena shows, carnival rides, parade, sports tourneys, live music, great food, and much more. Don’t miss the fun and mark your calendar for August 3, 4 & 5. Make it out early and get a good seat in the festival arena for some great 2017 shows. Thursday night we are proud to host ‘ICAR’ Go-Kart Racing Series out of Fort Wayne’s Baer Field Speedway. Friday night the ‘Bricker Barrel Racing Company’ will put on a fun night of horse racing and showmanship. And for the Saturday night main event you won’t want to miss for the first time in the tristate area ‘DEMO DERBY SOCCER!’ Details to be released, but imagine smash-em crash-em cars, an 8’ foot soccer ball, and 2 excavators all battling for the cash prize! Take the Mini-excavator Challenge Harlan Days

So you think you can run a Mini-excavator huh? Well, regardless if you think you know how or want to know how, this weekend will be your chance at Harlan Days. It’s just $5 per attempt, with prizes going to the best time each night. Of course you don’t have to compete for time, you could just pay to have bragging rights that you’ve run heavy equipment.
